At MLK Community Healthcare, we are looking for socially-conscious physicians interested in improving the health of one of the most medically-underserved communities in the nation. MLKCH Internal Medical Resident trainees have broad exposure to a wide range of pathologies and comorbidities. From diabetes and asthma, to heart, lung and kidney disease, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the most challenging and prevalent conditions facing California and the nation.

About Internal Medicine Residency
Committed to the underserved
The MLK Community Healthcare Internal Medicine Residency Program is central to our health systemās non-profit mission to bring high-quality, collaborative, compassionate care to the medically-underserved community of South Los Angeles.
Core rotations and curriculum
Residents at MLKCH will gain educational experience throughout the three-year Internal Medicine Residency Program, including critical care medicine, endocrinology, pulmonology, cardiology and more. MLKCH believes that this is the best way to enhance the inpatient and outpatient education experience. During the one-week ambulatory, Residents will also have dedicate protected time for quality, research and scholarly activity.

Diverse practice locations
Residents will have the opportunity to practice primary and specialty care at a variety of locations and at every level of care. From preventive medicine to acute complex medical conditions and everything in between. Clinical rotations will occur at MLK Community Healthcare, UCLA, and Cedars-Sinai.
