MLK Community Healthcare’s Career Fellows Program is a high school internship and mentorship program that provides South LA high school students with exposure to a variety of healthcare-related careers.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2025 Career Fellows Program. Check back in March 2026 for the 2026 application.

Explore career options in health

The Career Fellows Program provides exposure to careers in healthcare for South LA high school students. Students will have amazing opportunities to work with our health experts and mentors. Through observing MLKCH doctors and nurses, exploring research articles, and gaining real life experience, students will strengthen their career skills.
