Over MLK Day weekend, students at Heschel Day School marched through the San Fernando valley to support our fight for healthcare equity in South LA. Their advocacy is a powerful testament to the school’s founder, civil rights activist Rabbi Heschel, and a reminder of the healing power of solidarity. 

Lactation Educator Lydia Boyd reflects on her experience breastfeeding her premature baby without needed support from healthcare providers. Today, she dedicates herself to educating the mothers of South LA to ensure no one else faces breastfeeding challenges alone.
