Thanks to a lead gift from The Walt Disney Company, the hospital will build a collection of art from local artists to adorn patient areas.

Aiming to improve lives and boost community access to early diagnosis and treatment, the gift creates a dedicated CT Suite and names the Hope Emergency Center.

The Walt Disney Company stepped forward to help us promote comfort and normalcy in the hospital environment through a curated art collection.

The David & Lucile Packard Foundation awarded a grant of $800,000 in support of the hospital’s expansion of maternity services and programs. 

In October 2014, the Good Hope Medical Foundation issued a challenge grant to kick off our Advanced Care Program planning and first-stage pilot. 

Without MLKCH maternity services, more than half of the women in South Los Angeles travel far from their community to obtain maternity care.
