Being a parent is wonderful – and tiring! We’re there for you with support and services that will make parenting a pleasure, including a “MLKCH Moms” support group, a free, board-certified lactation consultant, as well as family doctors and pediatricians who can help the whole family stay healthy.
Want to breastfeed but need help getting started? Our Board-certified lactation expert will help you learn to latch effectively and comfortably, develop milk supply, and offer nutrition advice and other and support. We want to make motherhood a beautiful experience!

This free class explains what to expect during the first days after baby is born and helps you prepare for your stay. We offer an English and a Spanish class.
This free and voluntary program for qualifying families that live within the program’s service area offers in-hospital breastfeeding support, a free follow-up visit for you at home within a week of your baby’s birth as well as a parent coach for additional support.
Join our support group for new moms, led by a trained lactation expert. Topics include support for breastfeeding moms, weight and feeding checks for baby, and returning to work or school while breastfeeding.
Our friendly pediatricians and family medicine physicians provide comprehensive care to your entire family, including your little ones!
