The transformation of the entire MLK Medical Center campus was the subject of a June 2015 episode of StudioSoCal, a program of PBS SoCal. 

Two MLKCH medical directors, Dr. Briggs-Malonson and Dr. Frencher, were recognized in 2015 by the National Medical Association as top doctors. 

MLKCH is awarded a top certification for our electronic health record use—an achievement only 6.4% of US hospitals have reached.

The coveted listing is a major achievement for a safety-net hospital, validating our commitment to healthcare quality and access.
