Kurt Stauder, DPA, MBA is the President and CEO of the MLK Community Medical Group. Kurt comes to MLK Community Hospital with an impressive range of experiences in clinical leadership which include serving as the Vice President of Operations and Revenue Cycle at City of Hope Medical Foundation and Chief Operating Officer at AltaMed Health Services Corporation. Most recently, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Virginia Physicians and Surgeons Medical Group.

Kurt is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history leading Medical Groups in the higher education industry, Hospitals, MSOs, HMOs in non-profit and for-profit settings. He is skilled in physician relations, team development, healthcare management and medicine and leads a strong process improvement program.

Kurt earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia University and his MBA from University of San Francisco. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Public Administration at La Verne University.
