Inside the residency

The Internal Medicine Residency Program was launched to train the next generation of doctors as health equity champions and caregivers for the underserved. Healing space

Patients come to our Emergency Department every day in the midst of mental health crises, trying to find a place to recover. Now the EmPATH (Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing) Unit at MLKCH gives these patients a place to stabilize and recover in a therapeutic environment with professional support.
