MLKCH difference

Discover what makes MLKCH different

Intimate

MLKCH accepts just five residents a year into its Internal Medicine Residency Program (IMRP).

Rigorous

MLKCH Internal Medical Residency faculty are high-quality physicians drawn from the nation’s leading academic centers.

Hands-on

Unlike large system residencies where opportunities for direct patient care are limited, the MLKCH Internal Residency program offers enormous opportunity for direct procedural experience.

We don’t just want to train doctors, we want to train doctors with a clinician’s passion for vulnerable communities like ours and an activist’s commitment to ending health disparities. We want to produce the change-making doctors of the future.

Dr. Elaine Batchlor, CEO, MLK Community Healthcare
