What is MLKCH Gives?

MLKCH Gives is our annual staff giving campaign, and is designed for everyone who works for or with MLKCH! It's a wonderful and easy way to support our mission and embody our culture of generosity in action.

Where does my gift go?

Your gift directly supports the MLKCH general fund, helping us meet immediate needs and plan for the future. Over the last 9 years, MLKCH Gives has raised over $1 million, creating a healthy general fund that has helped launch and support things like:

  • Street Medicine
  • Staff mental health services
  • Education opportunities for staff personal development
  • Discharge medication for patients in need
  • Help our diabetes patients manage their conditions and avoid unnecessary complications
  • Expand the behavioral health program for community members who need our support
  • Train the next generation of physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals

and so much more!

Will there be tabling events this year?

Yes! We’ll be holding tabling gift pick ups in the cafeteria this year. Visit our activities page to see when the MLKCH Gives leadership team and foundation staff will be available.

Do I have to give online?

There are multiple ways to make your gift. Our online form is secure and easy to use. But if you prefer to fill out a contribution form in person, you can come by a tabling event or catch the foundation team during rounding in the hospital throughout the campaign.

Can I increase my bi-weekly payroll deduction?

Yes! Simply use the online form to choose your new giving level, or you can email gianna@mlk-chf.org with your new gift amount.
