CHRONIC CONDITIONS<\/span><\/h3>\n

The most prevalent chronic conditions in South LA include COPD, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and diabetes. A long-standing lack of access to care in this community has fostered a life expectancy that is ten years shorter and made diabetic amputation a top procedure at MLKCH.<\/p>\n
